Amazing Russian import

Sirens of Song are very honoured to now be representing a fabulous new world music group The Marianna Ensemble direct from Russia!
Some of you may have been serenaded recently by the beautiful Sirens soprano Maria Okunev at any of our recent Sirens gigs in Sydney or Adelaide. Maria, is joined by her younger sister Anna and between them they play violin, viola, piano, guitar and of course - Maria sings!
Take their exotic Russian background, re-discover classical treasures with gypsy flair and passion and you have the amazing original sound of Marianna. The Marianna Ensamble are often joined by other musicians in their quest for originality and often perform with the well known Karpatsky Guitar group.
Come along to see The Marianna Ensemble perform as part of Musica Viva's Cafe Carnevale Festival in Sydney on October 19 at the Seymour Centre at 8.30pm.
