Maria and Anna Okunev are an outstanding new Sydney duo.
Already they have won a great following. They were invited to perform at the Russian Embassy - Canberra and the Russian consulate - Sydney. Last year they were the winners of the Sydney World Song competition.
This year the Sydney City Council has awarded them with the Alf & Pearl Pollard Memorial Award for Excellence in Performance. They were a featured act of the Darlinghurst Cathe Carnevale festival - June. Also in June, they were invited to perform in two concerts at the National Gallery of NSW.
Marianna's repertoire ranges from world to classical and original music. The beautiful, haunting sounds of voice, and violin will add a unique, unforgettable atmosphere to your event. |
